Located about 16 miles (26 kilometers) from the winter capital of North Finland, Rovaniemi, the charming hotel is lying on the shores of Lake Lehtojärvi in the village of Sinettä, just above the Arctic Circle in Finnish Lapland.
Arctic SnowHotel is carved exclusively from ice and snow every year and both its rooms and suites are decorated with creative ice artwork. Inside each room, guests rest on beds of ice, snuggling in cozy sleeping bags. SnowHotel will be open from December 20, 2018, through March 31, 2019. Guests can also stay in private glass-roofed igloos located right outside the hotel and are available each year from November through March.
