The V8 Hotel in the MOTORWORLD region of Stuttgart has repurposed an impressive collection of classic cars to create 26 amazing theme-styled rooms. The hotel has beds built into classic autos and decor in keeping with the theme with rooms like America’s Route 66, a Shell gas station, and even a drive-in cinema.
The Gas Station room sports the classic German-built Volkswagen Beetle which is styled like the fictional character Herbie the Love Bug.
The room is also kitted out with relics from the Shell Oil Company including vintage pumps, neon lights, and a branded canopy sheltering the bed.
Soaked in 1950s nostalgia, the Drive-in Cinema room at the V8 Hotel features the legendary Cadillac Coupe de Ville as a centerpiece.
The theme of this room is classic cinema and romance. You can sit out under the stars with your sweetheart and rekindle a little bit of that wild teenage-love feeling while watching a movie of your choice from a TV stand made to look like a vintage ticket booth.
The V8 Hotel’s Route 66 room has all the ambiance of a road trip. It is decorated with a sky-painted ceiling, sand-colored linoleum floors, and a cornice made from a camping tent.
The room is also replete with motorcycle accessories as well as a classic motorbike frame which makes it perfect for anyone who’s ever dreamt of Easy Rider-esque trips across America.
