Big Ben, Downing Street, Hyde Park, Marble Arch, Nelson’s Column, St James’s Park, The Houses of Parliament, The Royal Albert Hall, and The Westminster Abbey, are some of London’s iconic sights you can gaze outside your window when joining the approximately 90-minute Brigit’s Bakery Afternoon Tea Bus Tour.

The food served inside these lovely vintage Routemaster buses in London is prepared by Brigit’s Bakery (or B Bakery), a French family-owned patisserie that is located in busy Covent Garden. The bakery was founded by Birgit Bloch and her son Cedric.

Your “Afternoon Tea” experience will include delicious coffee or tea accompanied by freshly prepared sandwiches, cut delicately into “fingers,” and quiches as well as sweet pastries, like cupcakes, and cakes, all served on vintage crockery. The menu, in general, offers a great variety of traditional, halal, gluten-free, vegan and vegetarian options, satisfying even the most demanding of the buses’ visitors.

“Afternoon Tea” is an extremely popular tea-related ritual in Britain, that was originally introduced in the early 1840s. According to British tradition, the afternoon tea was considered to be a mini meal that helped people stem the anticipation of their dinner; however, today it is treated as an occasional indulgence and a way to celebrate a special event.

You can spot the adorable red double-decker buses departing from Trafalgar Square or Victoria Coach Station. Note that prices depend on various factors, such as the table you choose, starting from £45 per adult, while kids under 5 years of age are not permitted.
